Perfect location just a few minutes from Central Park. It's walkable to midtown and beyond but there is the subway a block up. The lobby area is vast and the staff very welcoming and checking in and out were seamlessly easy. There's a great bar behind the reception and John is the perfect host (thanks for getting me a cab at short notice!). There is a small shop for quick food purchases if needed. The room was a double suite with a big comfortable double bed whilst the bathroon was big with an excellent powerful shower. A nice touch were the shampoo, conditioner and body wash dispensers. The staff replaced towels every day and tidied up everything to perfection ...

The view was excellent, the room was very quiet and the beds were extremely comfortable. The staff were all very friendly. Other reviewers noted a wait for the elevators but we never had an issue where we had to wait more than 5 minutes. It was only a short walk to Central Park (and an amazing playground!) and Times Square was just down the street but the hotel is far enough away to be out of the chaos. Any store/food you could possibly want all around, and a subway station literally outside the front door. Highly reccomend.

We got a great deal for 3 nights under $1000 including all city taxes and fees. For a 4 star hotel in NYC centrally located wheee we never had to taxi anywhere, that’s unheard of. We chose to take the subway to the Brooklyn Bridge/Soho but other than that walked everywhere. Safe area, Starbucks next door, some beat station at the end of the block, CVS two blocks away, Heaven on 7th newly opened local grocery one block away is great for grab and go food and drinks. Half the price of the hotel marketplace. Fantastic hotel!

Park Central is a beautiful hotel in a great location for both times square and central park. My daughter and I were very comfortable in the room and found the stuff to be very friendly and helpful. we especially appreciated the added security feature of scanning your room key in order to access your floor in the elevator. Travelling with a 22 year old daughter, that made me feel a lot safer.

Great location, near Central park and 5th Ave. Metro and bus stops right around the corner. Clean and spacious rooms, with large beds even for a twin room. Wifi ok. There is no breakfast served in the hotel, but there are many Delis and coffee shops nearby to choose from. No waiting times on check-out, just drop the card and go.
